These papers sprung from the Center on Capitalism and Society's 15th Annual Conference: The Age of the Individual: 500 Years Ago Today.
Director
Edmund Phelps, winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Economics, is director of the Center on Capitalism and Society at Columbia University and chairman of the Editorial Board for its journal.
